Calgary EMS confirm three people taken to hospital today after being struck by lightning

Earlier today, four people were working on a rooftop in Northeast Calgary when EMS was called and responded to reports of a lightning strike.
All four individuals were assessed on scene and two were taken to the hospital.

Shortly after EMS said they responded to another lightning strike incident in which one person was taken to the hospital.

All three incidents have resulted in none life threatening conditions but officials urge Calgarians to take safety measures during storms seriously.
