Bumble is hosting a massive Block Party in Calgary this weekend

This weekend, get together with Bumble users from all over Calgary for a massive block party at Ol’ Beautiful‘s patio!

And the best part is — entry is absolutely FREE for everyone with a Bumble profile (including Bumble Bizz and Bumble BFF).

Enjoy a full weekend of lawn games, live musical performances, inspiring panels, a drag brunch, beer flights and tastings, a women-led market, and loads of empowering connections!

Bumble is working with Calgary-based women vendors and entrepreneurs to bring the Block Party to life, including Manjit Minhas, Co-Founder & Co-Owner of the Minhas Brewery, Distillery & Winery.

Every day of the block party, enjoy beers brewed in-house by Ol’ Beautiful, lawn games by Bumble, Bumble profile doctors to help you boost your profile, and network with new connections.

Friday, June 14: 4 pm till 11 pm

4 pm — 11 pm: Complimentary braid bar by Hair on Location. Sign up upon arrival at Ol’ Beautiful to get a braid of your choice!

4 pm — 9 pm: Grab a snack from Taiko Tacos and The Dumpling Hero food trucks.

6 pm — 7 pm: Hustler’s Happy Hour with Manjit Minhas. Manjit, Co-Founder and Co-Owner of the Minhas Brewery, Distillery & Winery, will host a discussion with four Calgary women about their business successes. Join Drizzle Honey CEO Aja Horsley, Mandy Balak, Founder and CEO of The Ace Class, former energy sector executive turned finalist on MasterChef Canada Chanelle Saks-Sullivan, and beauty entrepreneur Adedoyin Omotara, for a panel discussion.

8 pm — 10:30 pm: Live music by DJ Joanna Magik.

Saturday, June 15: 11 am till 11 pm

11 am — 1 pm: Caffeinate with Monogram Coffee, or refresh with treats from Wild Tea Kombucha and Cookie Mama.

11 am — 3 pm, 5 — 7 pm: Complimentary braid bar by Hair on Location. Sign up upon arrival at Ol’ Beautiful to get a braid of your choice!

This weekend, for every social media post with the hashtag #BumbleBlockParty, Bumble will donate $5 to local charity Making Changes, helping provide programs, services, and resources to empower women and girls in transition. Each year, Making Changes assists over 2,400 women and girls to build a better future for themselves through education, employment, and volunteerism.
