The Big Taste has returned to Calgary for 2018, and it’s looking bigger and more delicious than ever.
The annual festival, dedicated for foodies to try their favourite restaurants, will be taking place from March 2 to 11 in downtown.

Over 90 restaurants will be participating in the festival and showing off their skills with price-fixed lunches and dinners. Lunches can be booked with a three-course meal being priced at either $18 or $28 a person. Dinners come in the form of a three-course meal for either $28 or $40, or a “gourmet masterpiece” for $65 a person.
Similar to last year, there are also a wide range of signature events that take place at select restaurants. Some of the events included are a demo dinner with five different chefs, a seafood “turf club” pop-up and an ultimate finale dinner that’ll take place on the last day of the festival.
The signature events will have higher ticket prices and vary based on location and event; you’ll need to purchase your ticket online in advance if you want to reserve a spot.
