Star trails in Kananaskis from last night! We finally had some clear skies in the mountains and the moon was not rising until much later in the night so I decided to head out for some night photography. I was lucky @beckylynnsim was free to come along on a work night because I had not charged my kindle – my entertainment while waiting for star trail exposures to finish. We were also treated to some nice colorful aurora displays and you can see hints of the pinks and greens above the mountains in this photo. I will post some aurora shots from this area later on.
