Be blindfolded at Beakerhead's Taste

Dec 19 2017, 2:36 am

Do you have a craving for a cozy space that will please both your taste-buds and your desire for the unanticipated? Taste is a unique, palette-expanding installment of Beakerhead, and is perfect for an audacious food lover. This is a sensory-based performance where the audience will be blindfolded throughout the event.

It promises to stimulate both your senses and your imagination while providing the chance to taste local cuisine from one of Calgary’s finest restaurants, the River Café.

The menu will feature the remarkable creations of the River Café’s celebrated Chef Andrew Winfield with Proprietaryietor Sal Howell. This event will not involve a traditional meal, but rather a series of taste experiences that will be specially crafted by Chef Andrew Winfield for the performance.

Taste combines intimate storytelling with the best of local cuisine and the latest in scientific and performance research, presented by  Ghost River Theatre, in collaboration with Vertical City Performance.

60 lucky ticket holders are surely in for a surprise as the tasting menu will remain a secret until all three evenings of performances are concluded.
