Barbie x Spruce Meadows brings a one-of-a-kind weekend to Calgary

Barbie x Spruce Meadows is a first-of-its-kind three-day destination experience taking place during the iconic ‘National’ Tournament presented by Rolex, from June 12 to 14.

Designed as an immersive celebration of style, sport, entertainment, and self-expression, this weekend brings a fresh twist to the tournament experience, combining international show jumping with themed attractions, live entertainment, shopping, unforgettable photo opportunities, and so much more.

Every aspect of the event is designed to feel vibrant, unexpected, and immersive, with new discoveries around every corner.

Throughout the weekend, guests can explore the Barbie Zone, which features iconic photo moments, oversized Barbie Boxes, themed installations, and interactive experiences throughout the grounds. Think entertainment like live music, petting zoos, corgi and dachshund races, father-daughter hair workshops, floral bouquet stations, Kids’ Zone programming, friendship bracelet-making and more.

With a splash of retro glamour, the Think Pink Roller Rink by Biggies will offer public skating and live roller-skating demos. Beyond that, 10,000 exclusive Barbie x Spruce Meadows bandanas will be given away across the three days. Expansive curated shopping moments, live entertainment, and international show jumping competition tie the whole experience together with a perfectly pink bow.

Friday kicks off the weekend with a bang. Along with the previously mentioned experiences and activations, the day will end with an outdoor screening of Barbie The Movie under the stars on ATCO Field. Meanwhile, Saturday hosts the ChangemakeHER Forum, a separate ticketed experience that brings together influential women from sport, business, media, entertainment, and culture for important conversations on leadership, ambition, and impact.

The day features notable panelists Nancy Southern, Helen Antoniou, Catriona Le May Doan, Marika Sila and Jane Wachowich, moderated by Linda Southern-Heathcott.
