'Am I seeing that right?' Comically bad park job at Alberta mall gets roasted

The holiday season is upon us, and for Albertans, that means one thing: if you’re shopping for deals at West Edmonton Mall, you’re saddling up for a nightmare travel experience.
A comically poor parking job in the world’s largest parking lot was recently roasted in a Facebook group dedicated to bad parking and driving in the city.
In the photo, posted by Lori Publicover, the driver of a gold Toyota did not even attempt to check whether their car was between the lines, or if they were in the middle of a thoroughfare, for that matter.
You can see the car is parked in the middle of the parking lot’s drive lane, using the speed bump as if it were a parking stopper block.

The egregious parking job set off a firestorm online, with hundreds of perplexed and amused commenters roasting the poor parking performance.
“Right slam dunk in the middle of the road? Am I seeing that right?” questioned Tanya Cropley.
“Think you’d find a spot in the biggest parking lot in the world,” said a user who goes by Bird Man.

“I know where this is, and it’s super in the way, it’s not even a less-busy part of the parking lot,” said Melania Hamori.
“People who park like that are not that smart. Their licence should be taken away,” Bernie Lajoie wrote.
But with more parking space than anywhere on the globe, maybe it’s inevitable that we’re going to see some aggressively bad parking jobs from time to time. At least we get a laugh out of it!
Steven A. Simon said, “Iāve seen it on Boxing Day before, not [the] middle of November.”
So, as we inch closer to Christmas, be sure to pack extra patience in those mall parking lots, and be sure to park in between the lines!
