If your iPhone battery has been acting up, you may be eligible for a $50 credit from Apple.

Apple announced that as of May 23 it is offering a $50 credit to customers who paid for an out-of-warranty battery replacement for iPhone 6 between January 1, 2017, and December 28, 2017.

Eligible battery replacements took place at an authorized Apple service location — Apple Store, Apple Repair Centre, or an Apple Authorized Service Provider.

Apple will contact eligible customers between May 23, 208, and July 27, 2018, with instructions on how to obtain their credit.

The credit will be given as an electronic funds transfer or on the credit card used to pay for the battery replacement service.

If you believe you are eligible for a credit based on the guidelines but don’t receive an email from Apple by August 1, 2018, you can contact Apple before December 13, 2018.
