Feb 26 2019, 5:01 am

Otafest, Calgary’s annual anime festival, is back again for its 2019 event.

The three-day long, all ages festival will bring the best in Japanese animation to Calgary’s Telus Convention Centre, including cosplay contests, community-run panels, voice actors, and much more.

Special guests will include James Landino, Rusty Meeks, and Wendee Lee, to name only a few.

Early bird tickets are still available until midnight on May 15, and potential attendees can pick them up for $55 (that’s the full weekend pass) — though it’ll be $60 at the door come opening day.

The festival will run from Friday, May 17 to Sunday, May 19, and passes are also available for single day admission starting at $25.
