Amber Alert issued for abducted 14-month-old: RCMP

Alberta RCMP have issued an Amber Alert following the alleged abduction of a 14-month-old boy.

The child, Waylon Armstrong, was allegedly abducted in the early hours of Friday morning by his father, 41-year-old Cody Armstrong.

Police believe that the abduction occurred at approximately 2:30 am from Waylon’s home in Brule, Alberta near Hinton.

The Hinton RCMP release states that Waylon is described as having blonde hair, brown eyes, and had been wearing a onesie with a moose on it.

Cody is described as being 5’9″, 170 lbs, with blonde hair, brown eyes, and had been wearing a grey shirt with grey Stanfield long johns. P

Police believe that he is driving a 2002, medium green GMC Sierra with the Alberta license plate BSF 3524.

Anyone who spots the vehicle or the suspect is warned not to approach, and to instead call the Hinton RCMP immediately at 780-865-5544.
