Three Alberta Tim Hortons rank among 10 best-rated locations in Canada

Three Alberta Tim Hortons have been ranked among the 10 best-rated locations in Canada, with one even placing second nationally.

New data from SEO company SEO Backlinks analyzed 2,438 Tim Hortons locations across Canada with at least 500 Google reviews and ranked them by average rating.

The study collected data from Google Maps on Oct. 5 and analyzed nearly 2.5 million reviews across the country.

Edmonton’s location at 10111 104th Ave. NW ranked second overall in Canada, with an average rating of 4.74 stars from 669 reviews.

Grande Prairie’s location at 11801 100th St. came in sixth, with a 4.70-star rating from 793 reviews, while another Edmonton location at 22915 97th Ave. NW ranked seventh, with 4.59 stars from 649 reviews.

Ontario narrowly took the top spot overall, with a Tim Hortons at 1 Eglinton Square in Scarborough earning a 4.76-star rating from 1,270 reviews, just 0.02 stars higher than Edmonton’s 104th Avenue location.

Other locations in the national top 10 include Winnipeg’s restaurant at 619 Sheppard St., which ranked third with a 4.74-star rating from 3,334 reviews, and a Vancouver location at 701 SE Marine Dr., which came in fourth with 4.73 stars.

Two more Ontario locations rounded out the top 10, including spots in East York and Markham, while Toronto’s Dundas Street East location landed in 10th place with a 4.50-star rating.

The results also highlighted the lowest-rated locations. The three lowest-rated Tim Hortons in Canada were all along the eastbound side of Highway 401 in Ontario, with ratings of 1.98, 2.02, and 2.08 stars.
