Calling all Alberta adventurers: We’ve got an essential resource for you.

Canmore photographer Gavin T Boutet just published Poo With a View, a book described as “a full-colour journey to some of Canada’s highest and most remarkable outhouses.”

Available online, Poo With a View showcases some serious landscapes that can be seen from various outhouses throughout the Rocky Mountains.

According to Boutet’s website, the book was created to celebrate some of his own “favourite backyard thrones in the region and presents them without you having to plug your nose.”

The paperback version of the photography collection is currently available on Amazon for $20, while a hardcover copy goes for just shy of $50.

While it may seem like a somewhat steep price to pay, it’s a relative steal compared to cost of gear, time, and effort it would take to find yourself at these views in person!
