There is now a total of 8,596 cases of COVID-19 in Alberta since the pandemic began in March, with 77 cases detected over the past 24 hours.
According to a recent report from the Province of Alberta, Friday, July 10, saw the case count increase. No new deaths were reported.

Of the province’s cases, 592 remain active — the majority being found in Calgary (228) and Edmonton (203).
A total of 7,844 Albertans have recovered from coronavirus so far, while 50 are in hospital and nine are in an intensive care unit.
