Airdrie Santa Parade 2015 takes over Main Street on Saturday

Santa Claus is coming to town early on Saturday, December 5 for the Airdrie Santa Parade.

Even though it’s an incredibly busy time of year for Mr. and Mrs. Claus, they were able to put aside some holiday preparations to attend the festive parade in Airdrie, along with some of their other Christmas friends.

Among the dazzling floats will be Disney’s Frozen, the Festival of Lights Train and a horse-drawn carriage pulling the honoured guests from the North Pole along the route.

The parade will begin at Fletcher Park at 5 p.m. and go south down Main Street, ending at Ridgegate Boulevard. Roads will close at 4:30 p.m. and reopen 30 minutes after the parade.

Remember, get there early for a prime viewing spot.
