It’s time to move your body – Afrikadey, Calgary’s annual world music celebration returns to the city for another year.
Back for their 25th anniversary, Afrikadey takes place at various venues around the city and shows a diverse range of musicians, including Wura Samba, Sandra Isazadore, I Am The Mountain, DJ Yung Yahh, and many more.
The concert series celebrates the rich, creative work of African cultures with Canadians of all ages and across all walks of life.
The final event, the world music festival, includes an interactive children’s area, visual arts displays, arts and crafts markets, a beer garden, and more.
Don’t miss out on an opportunity to share in African culture and listen to some great music at the same time.
