Ace Coffee + Diner: All-day breakfast spot opens in West Springs

Kam Dhillon (the restaurateur behind Mango Shiva) has opened up a warm and welcoming modern diner in West Springs.

Located at the intersection of 85 Street and 9th Avenue, Ace Coffee + Diner offers an array of all-day breakfast eats, in addition to a light lunch menu.

With inside seating for 65 (45 in the diner and another 20 more casual café seats), “people can expect to stop in [at Ace] for a classic high quality breakfast or lunch with your classic diner fare on feature,” says Dhillon.

If patrons can’t stay, Ace also offers pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and Phil & Sebastian Coffee to go.

Menu highlights include fresh baked pastries and cookies, a range of tempting Eggs Benny plates, an organic beef breakfast burger, fingerling chive potatoes, house-made milk shakes (made with Mackay’s Ice Cream), and diary-free smoothies.

“Coming soon is our grab-and-go “HOT FOOD” breakfast sandwiches, inspired by EggSlut in L.A. In the summer we will have seats outside and a comfort food dinner menu to compliment the longer days,” adds Dhillon.
