Sled Island poster show

  • What: The annual Sled Island Poster Show pairs local artists with musicians playing the festival to create limited edition, hand-silkscreened posters by Burnt Toast Studios. Posters will be on display and available for purchase.

Shakespeare by the Bow: Hamlet

  • What: Theatre Calgary’s Production of Hamlet comes to Prince’s Island Park. No need to buy tickets for the show, just arrive early to grab a seat and bring a blanket with you if you’d like. The show runs on donations, so pay what you’d like when the collection hat makes it’s way through the crowd. Find showtimes online.

Carol Burnett

  • What: Hosted by NorthWest Comedy and Just For Laughs, comedian and award winning actress, Carol Burnett is coming to Calgary. Burnett will share clips and moments from her career as well as engage in a question and answer period with the audience.

Tiger Army

  • What: 90’s band, Tiger Army is playing in Calgary this week. The Cali punk rockers have released five studio albums over the years, with their latest release, V•••–, out this year.
