Ride to Work Day

  • What: Calgary motorcycle and scooter riders are encouraged to Ride to Work today to encourage using motorcycles and scooters. There’s free parking for 200 motorcycles or scooters at the base of the TransCanada Tower and riders are asked to make a $5 donation to help support ECL Choppers for Charity.

The Together exhibition at World Refugee Day

Rock on Spelling Bee: Sex, Drugs and Music

  • What: In anticipation of Sled Island, Calgary’s music and arts festival, come spell the words of garage bands, groupies and the vices that fuel the fun. Words will span musical terminology, drug culture and the sexy love between fan and musician. The winner gets a Sled Island wristband.
