3D Virtual Grocery Store from Inabuggy the first of its kind in Canada
A 3D Virtual Grocery Store is the thing we never knew we needed until now, as the first one in Canada just launched in Toronto.
Brought to us by on-demand delivery service Inabuggy in partnership with Toronto’s McEwan Fine Foods Don Mills, this new grocery shopping portal is officially up and running as of today.

Folks in the area can now visually shop for groceries from the comfort of their own homes using the virtual platform.
The store has been designed for shoppers to “walk through” aisles in a seamless 3D store environment.
“Our first-of-its-kind virtual shopping portal piloted with McEwan Don Mills is offering customers a glimpse into the online grocery shopping experience of the future,” said Julian Gleizer, CEO and Founder of Inabuggy.
“This premium experience enhances both customer engagement and convenience, and lets customers get a close-up view of store items within each aisle, letting them feel like they are physically in the store.”
Shoppers can peruse the 3D store for produce, meats, fish, restaurant-quality prepared meals, and gourmet grocery items.
These items will also be in the same place every time a user comes online to shop, aka nothing will be shuffled around in the virtual space, so there’s really an opportunity to make this feel like your go-to store after a few shops.
So, if you’re in Toronto, you can access this platform by selecting the option to shop virtually on the Inabuggy app or website before being transported to McEwan Don Mills at 38 Karl Fraser Road.
As for the rest of us Canadians, we’ll just have to buy online the old fashioned way and click on photos until this service comes our way.
