Well this one’s exciting – one of Calgary’s top restaurants is celebrating its sixth birthday.
But this isn’t any regular restaurant – it’s a rustic-chic eatery in a converted dairy offering creative, locally-sourced grub. Yep, Model Milk’s six year anniversary has swung around, and chances are that it’s bringing back a slew of fantastic memories.
Craving food? No worries – it’s easy to make a reservation especially during the month of October by calling 403-265-7343. And it’s also easy to get there since it’s located in Calgary’s historical dairy building in the heart of uptown. The entrance through 17th avenue is under construction but you can still park for free behind the building, with access through 2nd street. Now you can experience new dishes from new Chef de Cuisine, Blair Clemis – a nice way for Model Milk to say thank you to its loyal customers over the years.
As always, Model Milk continues to provide diners with an exceptional dining experience, backed by locally-sourced ingredients, a talented team of chefs, and of course, unparalleled service. And don’t forget about its delicious Sunday suppers – you can learn more about the next one online.
Don’t forget to try Model Milk’s dishes like the iconic Model Milk Burger complete with ham hock, cheese curd, and house cut fries. Don’t forget about the sea food dishes either – like the braised line caught cod including roasted mussles, sourdough, savoy cabbage, and cider. You can see the complete menu here.
