Day 1 of Chasing summer took place in Fort Calgary on Friday, August 7 and it was popping with people and beats. They celebrated amazing music produced by some of the worlds greatest DJs. The artist to headline Western Canada’s Largest Electronic Dance Music Festival on day 1 was Grammy Award winner TIËSTO, and he as well as the other very talented artists did not disappoint the crowd.

First time joining an EDM festival in Canada. Jeez these (I would assume most of them are) Canadians are so nice and polite: saying sorry when they squeeze themselves in between people, helping random girls see the stage by letting them stay on their shoulders, etc. A couple of guys even asked me if I wanted them to move to the side because they're tall and I can't see the stage.
