Notable Vancouver brand Herschel is expanding to the fairway
A notable Vancouver bag brand that has supplied endless backpacks and other carry items to customers is expanding its offerings to the fairway.
Herschel launched Herschel Supply Golf last month, calling it a “natural extension” of the brand’s roots in travel and “global perspective.”
For the first time ever, the Vancouver-based brand is offering three on-course bags, a golf travel bag, and a “range of accessories.”
Herschel’s founder, Jamie Cormack, said that golf felt like a natural extension, “and there was a clear white space to approach it with a travel-first mindset.”
“We set out to build functional, quality products for today’s golfer, bringing our balance of classic style and modern functionality to the game,” Cormack added.
The new lineup places a focus on lightweight and functional construction, “intuitive organization, and durable materials to move seamlessly from airport to clubhouse.”
“Each piece is considered, purposeful, and built to work together as part of a complete travel kit,” Herschel says.
Herschel Supply Co. was founded in Vancouver in 2009 and has since been one of the most, if not the most, popular bag brands in the world. It offers items in all price ranges, making it a suitable option for a variety of budgets.
Eiken Shop, an American publication that focuses on bags, called Herschel the most popular backpack brand last year. The brand is also known for its luggage offerings.
