Description
The bones are wiggling in the graveyard and the ghouls are getting giggly, which can only mean one thing: Canyon Frights is back at Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. From October 9 to November 1, 2026, the Park will transform into a glowing, growling day-and-night adventure for the whole family, complete with limited-time seasonal treats and drinks to sink your fangs into along the way.
The festively frightful forest returns in full force this year, with beloved bone-rattling vignettes scattered throughout the Park, including Cliffwalk, Treetops Adventure and the West Coast rainforest. Keep an eye out for boo-tiful photo opportunities, curious critters and ghostly friends hiding around every corner.
A few more bewitching things to expect at Canyon Frights:
● Ghostly Glow: The iconic suspension bridge, the river and surrounding forest will light up to set the mood for Halloween.
● A Little Extra Funk in the Forest: With Bruno Mars set to take over Vancouver for a record-breaking five-night tour stop this October, Canyon Frights is getting in on the citywide excitement. The Cliffwalk gardens will be dressed up with funky decor and themed skeleton displays, offering a playful nod to the pop superstar’s signature style.
● Little Goblins' Games & Activities: Not every corner of the Park is out to scare you. Creep into Critter's Hollow for a crash course in all things bats, or join the Frightful Forest Scavenger Hunt, with clues and activities scattered along the trails for goblins and ghouls of all ages.
● Haunted Harmonies: Live music will keep the spirits going at Loggers' Grill Plaza, with sets running on the hour from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
● Spellbound Sips and Snacks: The Cliff House Restaurant & Bar is stirring up a limited-time menu of Halloween-inspired sips and seasonal bites. Enjoy spooky favourites like the Midnight Mule, Peek-A-Boo-Tini and Dracula’s Bite Hot Chocolate, alongside comforting dishes including the Harvest Moon Soup, Foragers Ravioli and a decadent Pumpkin Crème Brûlée.
