It really is “all about that bass” in a Barbershop Chorus. Calling all low, low voices looking for a fun way to sing in close harmony, have a sense of community and work on some amazing repertoire… Pacific Spirit Voices wants YOU 🎶

BASS is the foundation of all the chords that we “lock and ring” in this a cappella art form. PSV is a mixed voice chorus — we need to increase the size of our bass section by 5+ singers, in order to balance the chorus. We are specifically looking for singers with a naturally bright, in-tune voice and a ringing sound.

Calling all traditional SATB low tenors, baritones and contraltos 🎶. Looking for a fun way to sing in close harmony, have a sense of community and work on some amazing repertoire, then Pacific Spirit Voices could be the perfect match.

BARI is the coolest part in a Barbershop Chorus — its melodies fill chords, create interest and occasionally challenge and steal the melody. PSV is a mixed voice chorus, so we have a fantastic mix of voices to which we would love to add 2 or 3 people.

Calling all musical theatre style bari-tenors and mezzos 🎶. Looking for a fun way to sing in close harmony, have a sense of community and work on some amazing repertoire? Pacific Spirit Voices could be the perfect match.

LEAD is usually the melody in this a cappella art form - PSV is a mixed voice chorus - so we have a blend of bari-tenors, mezzos and altos “leading” the way. We are specifically looking for voices with a bright, natural tone and a ringing sound (mixed registration encouraged).
