Vancouver, BC – Upintheair Theatre presents rEvolver Festival 2026, with an outstanding line-up of performances, revealing the best in ground-breaking Canadian live theatre arts by emerging and early/mid-career artists, from Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 31 at The Cultch in East Vancouver.

Over two weekends, rEvolver Festival brings the latest in new, experimental, and multidisciplinary performance from up-and-coming artists across Canada. This year we present a robust assortment from gritty drama to stand-up comedy to burlesque, from puppets to panties, cowboys to clowns to cats, from raw and haunting to gut-busting hilarity, and everything in between. There’s something for everyone at the festival this year. Also cats. Did we mention cats?

The 2026 Evolver festival is programmed by Resident Curator Argel Monte de Ramos, Festival Director Sarah Roa, and Upintheair Theatre’s Managing and Artistic Director David Mott.
