Description
One of Vancouver’s most beloved holiday traditions is back! After a brief pause in 2024, Hycroft for the Holidays returns, inviting guests to experience the timeless charm of Hycroft, the stately Edwardian-era mansion, lavishly transformed into a Winter Garden wonderland.
Once again, the Artisan Fair invites visitors to shop creations from over 40 vendors in a festive celebration of art, design, and local craftsmanship — all in support of the Hycroft Heritage Preservation Foundation which promotes the conservation, preservation, and maintenance of the iconic Hycroft, a City of Vancouver designated heritage mansion.
In addition to the Artisan Fair with handcrafted treasures perfect for thoughtful holiday gifting, visitors are invited to kick off the festive season with live holiday jazz music, festive treats from Hycroft’s two cozy on-site cafés, and choral performances throughout the event.
“Hycroft for the Holidays has been a Vancouver tradition for 50 years and we are delighted to be able to open the house up to visitors again this year to celebrate the real magic of the holidays — bringing people together,” says Hycroft Heritage Preservation Foundation and University Women’s Club of Vancouver President Robin Halpern.
This year’s Winter Garden theme will come to life through exquisite décor designed by acclaimed Vancouver interior designer Francesca Albertazzi of Studio Albertazzi, lead designer of Pamela Anderson HGTV series “Pamela’s Garden of Eden.”
New this year is a Christmas Tree Garden on display on the outdoor estate grounds, thanks to the event’s generous sponsors.
Visitors can also browse a Silent Auction, enter a giveaway for a Vendor Gift Basket valued at $1,200 and purchase made-to-order wreaths and centerpieces, crafted with greenery and hydrangeas from Hycroft’s own gardens.
