The Architecture Foundation of British Columbia (AFBC) is excited to announce the launch of a walking tour program through Vancouver's downtown, highlighting key buildings and places that make Vancouver what it is today, and discussing the role architects, city planners, and developers play in building a good city.
This is a two-hour guided walking tour that's suitable for visitors and locals looking to see Vancouver in a new way, whether you have a background in architecture or are just passionate about cities! The tour takes place in an active urban environment and visits a range of architectural sights. Our knowledgeable guides cover various topics, both historical and contemporary.
The Architecture Foundation of British Columbia (AFBC) is a non-profit organization advocating for the advancement of architecture and design in British Columbia. The AFBC is also a registered charity that funds education programs, scholarships, and other philanthropic initiatives.
