After initially rolling out at Lawrence West and Yorkdale stations, the TTC says two-ride and day pass PRESTO tickets are now available at more stations.

PRESTO tickets are now at Fare Vending Machines in stations from Vaughan Metropolitan Centre to Wilson.

According to the TTC, PRESTO tickets are ideal for infrequent travellers and visitors to the city.

They will be available at all 75 TTC stations this summer and at select Shoppers Drug Mart locations in Toronto later this year.

At this time, the tickets are available at: Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, Highway 407, Pioneer Village, York University, Finch West, Downsview Park, Sheppard West, Wilson, Yorkdale, and Lawrence West.

One-ride tickets cost $3.25 (same as a cash fare), two-ride tickets cost $6.50, and the day pass ticket costs $13.00, and PRESTO tickets are eligible for the two-hour transfer.

TTC reminds transit users that they must tap the PRESTO Ticket every time they enter a subway station and whenever they board a bus or streetcar. A tapped PRESTO Ticket is a customer’s Proof-of-Payment and should be carried at all times while riding. Once their fare has been used or their transfer or day pass has expired, they must purchase another PRESTO Ticket or pay by cash.

Unlike a PRESTO card, PRESTO Tickets are not reloadable.

PRESTO Tickets are valid only on the TTC.
