Her Sports Fest

 A new, hands-on celebration of girls and women in sport is coming to Toronto this spring. The inaugural Her Sports Fest will take place May 22–24, 2026 at The Hangar Sport and Events Centre in Downsview Park, bringing together girls and women of all ages for a dynamic, action-packed weekend designed to get more girls and women active in sport.

Her Sports Fest offers an inclusive, interactive space where participants can discover new sports, build skills, connect with others, and celebrate their journey in sport. On-site activations and live demonstrations will feature a range of sports — including biathlon, flag football, soccer, golf, skateboarding, athletics, sailing and many more.

Her Sports Fest will feature a “Learn It” Chalk Talk series with athletes, coaches and experts, alongside a “Find It” marketplace showcasing leading brands and the latest gear and equipment. Elite-level athlete appearances throughout the weekend will highlight personal journeys and the impact of sport on both mental and physical well-being. Full schedule of appearances and Chalk Talks will be announced in the lead-up to the event.

Weekend Programming Highlights

Friday, May 22 – StrongHER Night Out (19+)

The weekend kicks off with a high-energy, adults-only experience from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm ET. StrongHER Night Out invites women to try new sports, connect with the community, and celebrate movement in a fun, social setting. The first 200 attendees will receive a Her Sports Fest gift.

Saturday, May 23 & Sunday, May 24 – Youth Festival (Ages 8–18)

Programming runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm ET each day, designed primarily for girls aged 8 to 18, with families, friends, and teammates welcome to join. Participants will have the opportunity to explore multiple sports in a supportive, confidence-building environment.
