The time has come, Toronto. The time to say goodbye to summer, that is.

But summer isn’t leaving without a bang.

According to The Weather Network, it’s expected to reach the mid and high 30s for a few days in the city before the official start to fall on September 23.

While the week is expected to see sunny skies, the temperature will hover around the 20°C  mark from Tuesday through Thursday.

By Friday, the weather is expected to get warmer as the high is expected to reach 24°C  but will feel more like 28°C.

On Saturday, it will get even warmer and will reach 30°C with the humidex, followed by a mainly sunny Sunday and a humidex of 34°C.

Earlier on Monday, The Weather Network released its outlook for Canada’s upcoming season.

For those in Ontario, they say you can expect near-normal temperatures for the fall with extended periods of both mild weather and cold weather that offset each other. But, the bad news is, a colder than normal winter is expected for most of the region.

So enjoy the warm pre-fall conditions while you can.
