It’s always a delight when you’re in school to plan for the most epic, informative, or relaxing spring break possible. Oftentimes as parents, we’re trying to ensure that our kids are getting the best experience they can as well.

Here is exactly where the Oregon Zoo swoops in to save the day. If your child has an affinity for animals, caretaking, or is intrigued by biology at all, then one of the greatest zoos on the planet may just be what they need.

Opening registration today, the Oregon Zoo offers up a wide range of spring break camps that span either a whole day or just part of it. Ages for the camps range from 4 all the way up to Grade 6 students. Parents can register their children for as many or as few of them as they wish.

“Oregon Zooā€™s Spring Break Camp is a great way to connect kids to animals and nature. Campers explore little-known areas of the zoo, meet animals face-to-face and leave inspired to care for the natural world. Each camp is themed around different groups of animals, and includes activities and experiences that provide campers with the opportunity to learn about their habitats, adaptations and what actions to take to help wildlife,” says the camp’s website.
