Daily Hive is on the lookout for freelance writers to contribute regular items and ad-hoc articles across all sections of our ever growing national network.
Whether you’re an experienced writer or just starting out in your career, we want to hear from you.
It’s important to note that this is not a words for exposure kind of deal. Any freelancer working with us will be paid based on a pre-agreed rate before any article is written.
What we’re looking for
Maybe you absolutely love the rain in Vancouver, can’t wait for snow in Calgary, love the Leafs in Toronto, or know where to get the best smoked meat in Montreal, maybe you’re an expert on the best places to buy sneakers in town, or maybe you’ve dug up a news story that people need to read about.
We’re open to ideas from regular columns to news, opinions, and listicles.
