Sales Director

Colony Digital is looking for an experienced and high-energy Sales Director to join our fun, captivating and hardworking team! The primary function of this role is to accelerate client acquisition via a consultative sales approach where solutions are proposed based on a clients’ specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create strong relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels - support the Influencers.
  • Work closely with colleagues on upsell opportunities, sales materials and case studies
  • Understand the Canadian digital agency competitive landscape and market trends
  • Understand and effectively communicate Colony's value proposition, process and current partnerships.
  • Generate and submit RFP responses and related sales documents/proposals/ presentations when required
  • Collaborate with Colony’s senior team to set revenue goals and company strategy while implementing a sales plan to drive revenue growth
  • Attend key events to generate leads
  • Define and execute appropriate sales strategies; business development, and sales support programs to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Generate and maintain accurate Account and Opportunity forecasts.
  • Work with internal teams on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of project delivery and customer service
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data, deliver weekly reporting providing key business insights: Demand Generation, Pipeline Forecast and Trends, Conversion Rates, Target Accounts, Market Segmentations, Win/Loss Ratios
  • Report on key KPIs related to the lead and the opportunity waterfall in order to implement a consistent closed-loop between the business and sales

Requirements

  • Ability to understand the impact of a project from both an executive and marketing person's perspective
  • Effectively manage sales funnel, close deals and exceed sales targets
  • Proven success working in a fast-paced, high-growth, start up environment
  • Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems
  • Has a can do attitude of targeting and winning clients through the entire sales cycle
  • Computer literate and competent with CRM functionality and reporting
  • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically
  • Energetic, persuasive and well organized with the ability to provide winning pitches
  • Compliment team culture and performance
  • A vehicle and valid driver’s license
