Just in case our 56 recommendations for every type of traveller in 2019 weren’t quite enough to guide your 2019 travel planning (if so, you need to give your head a shake, but we forgive you) — here’s one more list to ignite your wanderlust.

Vacation booking website Expedia has released a list of the best places to visit this year as chosen by Canadians.

Many of the top picks are within Canada itself (shout out to exploring your own backyard!), and the survey also saw more picks for Manitoba than it has before, as well as various international destinations that were on the rise.

In no particular order, here is Expedia’s list of the best places to travel in 2019 according to Canadians:

  • Gulf Islands, British Columbia
  • Stratford, Ontario
  • Hope Town, Bahamas
  • Calgary, Alberta
  • Montreal, Quebec
  • Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia
  • Brandon, Manitoba
  • Bathurst, New Brunswick
  • Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
  • Deer Lake, Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Dauphin, Manitoba
  • Bogota, Colombia
  • Chatham-Kent, Ontario
  • Solana Beach, California
  • Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia
  • Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Toronto, Ontario
  • Pincher Creek, Alberta
  • Tuscany, Italy

Based off of the survey taken by 1,000 Canadians, the list provides a description and recommendations of things to do in each destination, so make sure to take a peek!
