BC-based cannabis producer Tantalus Labs is opening its doors to the public with a virtual tour of its Maple Ridge greenhouse facility.
Tantalus acquired its sales licence, issued by Health Canada under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR), in August and is currently shipping its first round of orders.
ACMPR patients across the country can sign up for a Tantalus Prime membership which gives them access to five sun-grown strains delivered to their door.
The 120,000-sq-ft facility can produce 10,000 kg of cannabis per year and uses 90% less electricity than traditional cannabis cultivation.
Tantalus also has 5.3 million litres of rainwater storage and air circulation on a seven-minute cycle.
