Now that the smoke has cleared since legalization day, many online distributors and brick and motor stores have said they’ve already run low on cannabis stocks.
And just one day after legalization, a Canadian province confirmed it was experiencing a province-wide shortage and is completely out of certain cannabis products.
On Thursday afternoon, the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) announced that the entire province is out of cannabis oils and capsules, also small package sizes and pre-rolls are already in limited supply.
We want our cannabis customers to know we have no oils or capsules right now. Small pkg sizes and pre-rolls are in limited supply. More inventory is coming soon. Our employees will provide waiting customers with as much product info as possible. Stay tuned for inventory updates

However, Nova Scotia cannabis customers shouldn’t worry, as the liquor corporation says more inventory is coming soon. How soon, however, remains unclear.
“Our employees will provide waiting customers with as much product info as possible,” reads a tweet from the NSLC.
In Ontario, the government-run online cannabis store has added a disclaimer to its homepage advising customers that due to the high volume of purchases, orders may take up to five business days to arrive.
