Some libraries and bookstores are designed with so much aesthetic appeal, they are attracting Instagram enthusiasts as much as they are bookworms.
One newly opened bookstore in China has gone viral for its intricate interior design that looks like an optical illusion.
Designed by a young Chinese designer LiXiang, the store features stairs that mimic the mountains of the city and glass ceilings. People are saying the complexity and attention to detail of the design resembles an MC Escher painting — check out the example below.

Located in Chongqing in Southwestern China, the bookstore is the latest branch of Chinese chain Zhongshuge, which has branches in Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Chengdu. This particular store holds more than 80,000 books.
