Here is the full statement from Cactus Club.

We have been contacted by Alberta Health Services regarding six confirmed COVID-19 cases associated with our Stephen Ave location in Calgary.

The safety and well-being of our guests and employees is our number one priority. While AHS has not mandated it, we have decided to voluntarily close this location out of an abundance of caution to ensure the health of everyone. We will be conducting a deep clean of the restaurant and plan to reopen early next week.

We ask that guests who visited our Stephen Ave location between July 2 and July 10 monitor themselves for symptoms and contact appropriate health authorities if necessary.

We would like to reassure the public that this is a voluntary closure. We strictly adhere to the health and safety guidelines set by government agencies and health authorities and have also taken additional measures to keep our restaurants safe. Specific measures that have been adopted include; seating groups six feet apart or with a physical barrier between tables, limiting group size to a maximum of six people, mandatory usage of masks and other PPE by staff, and rigorous cleaning and kitchen protocols.

We will continue to work closely with Alberta Health Services to monitor the situation to ensure the health of our guests and staff alike.
