We might be on the last official day of winter according to the calendar, but apparently someone forget to tell that to Mother Nature.

While this new week has dawned (relatively) clear so far, there are flakes in the forecast, according to The Weather Network.

Wet snow could potentially touch down on Friday and Saturday, with amounts around the one centimetre mark.

True, that may not seem like much, but can we just remember the fact that we’re now in late March, and this should have been behind us a long time ago?

Sure, at this point, there’s a good chance the forecast will likely change, but this is what people are currently seeing.

So if you thought we were out of the woods when it came to the winter weather, it looks like it might be a good idea to keep those coats and shovels close at hand for at least a little while longer.

Snow is in the forecast for Vancouver according to The Weather Channel.

And hey, maybe the weather will sort itself out by April.
