1. Starbucks Frappucino Happy Hour

Come on, get happy! Starbucks Canada is going to run their Happy Hour promo from May 5 to 14, when all their Frappuccino® blended beverages are half off from 3 to 6 pm at participating stores.

2. Tonight for Tomorrow Mealshare fundraiser night

Make plans to eat dinner out on May 10; it’s Mealshare’s second annual Tonight for Tomorrow fundraiser. Over 15 restaurants have partnered with the non-profit charity and agreed to donate one dollar to Mealshare for every dollar spent on food on this day.

3. Wild Rice X Steel & Oak Brewery Brew Masters Dinner

4. Authentic Japanese Cooking Workshop at UBC Farm

Join local Japanese food expert and food educator Kimiko Suzuki to learn how to make an authentic home cooked Japanese meals in this hands-on class. 6. Tartine & Maple’s Mother’s Day Brunch & Bake

7. BETA5 Spring Pop-Up

Get ready to welcome in the sweetness of spring as local chocolatier and treat-maker BETA5 opens up their Cambie Village pop-up shop once again. They’ve added three new tea-infused flavours to their cream puff family: Mango Bubble Tea, Strawberry Jasmine, and Matcha. The pop-up shop will also soon have ice cream, ice cream sammies, and their ice cream socials. Plus: Don’t forget to pick up something for Mom!

8. Mangia Famiglia Sunday Supper at Cibo

With menus that feature an ever-changing roast meat entrée and a selection of seasonal side dishes, the Sunday Suppers give guests the opportunity to raise a glass and say ‘Salute!’ while tucking into a feast that showcases Cibo’s hearty, Italian-inspired cuisine.
