Mother’s Day is on Sunday, May 14, which means it’s coming up quick, kids.

If you’re at a loss and aren’t sure what to get mother dearest for the occasion, show her how grateful you are for her presence by taking her out for a delicious brunch, lunch, dinner, or epic sweet treat.

Vancouver’s restaurants and bakeries have done the planning for you regarding the 14th, they’ve stepped up with killer menus, drool-worthy libations, and desserts worthy of mom.

This Mother’s Day Boulevard will be offering a special prix-fixe brunch and dinner on May from 11 am to 3 pm. The three-course brunch is $65 per person and will feature clam chowder and crab, avocado, or Canadian bacon benedicts to name a few. That evening from 5 to 11 pm, Boulevard will serve a three-course dinner for $65 featuring dishes like slow poached West Coast Oysters, beef carpaccio, and linguine alle vongole.

Chez Christophe has some impressive Mother’s Day showpieces available like the Garden of Love and Spring Tulip chocolate sculptures. If mom has a sweet tooth you should definitely check out this spot’s Mother’s Day limited edition cake – the Pomme Caramel – made with green apple mousse, caramelized apple, and caramel creameux with a caramel cinnamon almond crunch. For Mother’s Day Cibo is offering an extended brunch service from 8 am to 3 pm. The new a-la-carte brunch menu features dishes like whole grain and nut granola, vegetable frittata, and panettone French toast. On the evening of the 14 Cibo will kick off its first instalment of the ‘Mangia Famiglia’ Sunday supper series served family-style for $27 per person.

5. Dockside Restaurant

Dockside Restaurant at the Granville Island Hotel is offering a Mother’s Day Marketplace Brunch Buffet on May 14. There will be two seatings for this brunch, one at 10 am and one at 1 pm. The buffet is $74.95 per person and $34.95 for kids, and the menu will feature over 70 made-from-scratch selections.

On May 14 head to the The Westin Bayshore to check out its new restaurant – H2 Rotisserie & Bar. This spot is offering Mother’s Day brunch with a wide selection of dishes including rotisserie chicken, a pasta station, and an egg station. This brunch will also have games, contests, gifts, special Mother’s Day cocktails, and live music. There will be seatings at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm and it costs $70 for adults and $35 for kids.
