This Sunday, June 24, there will be no service on Line 3 Scarborough as TTC crews carry out maintenance and repair work.

According to the TTC, there will be shuttle buses running throughout the closure, operating via Midland Avenue to Scarborough Centre Station, with stops at Kennedy, Lawrence East, Ellesmere, Midland, and Scarborough Centre stations.

For those requiring an accessible connection, Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station for customers. Customers can speak with any TTC staff member for more information about Wheel-Trans service frequency.

Periodic Line 3 closures are required as the TTC performs life-extending rehabilitation of the tracks and vehicles to provide a more reliable and comfortable service over the next 10 years.

The line will be decommissioned following the opening of the Scarborough Subway Extension.
