This summer, extensive upgrades will be made to ageing streetcar tracks along Broadview Avenue between Danforth Avenue and Dundas Street East.

These track upgrades will result in temporary TTC service modifications and traffic restrictions.

Starting this Sunday, June 24 until September 8, crews will begin track upgrades along Broadview Avenue between Dundas Street East and Gerrard Street East, and at both of these intersections.

Phase 1 of track upgrades is scheduled to be completed in late July, while Phase 2 is scheduled to be completed by September 8.

There will also be spot repairs on the track and concrete between Simpson and Danforth Avenues between June 25 and July 23. The road will remain open to cars and buses.
