City Hall Live

What: You can say goodbye to eating your lunch at your desk this summer, as City Hall Live returns with free lunchtime concerts throughout the city. Taking place at Nathan Phillips Square, City Hall Live helps support local musicians and music communities by hosting 25 free lunchtime concerts on select afternoons this summer.

Make Your Own Charcuterie Board

What: If you’ve got a passion for woodworking and hosting, you’re going to want to attend this charcuterie board making class. You’ll enjoy an evening filled with wine, tasty charcuterie, all while acquiring some expert woodworking skills from the best in the business.

Pride Movie Night Fundraiser

What: You can enjoy a special Pride movie screening tonight at Carlton Cinema. Co-hosted by Pride & Solidarity Committee and the Canadian Labour International Film Festival (CLiFF), tonight’s screening is Pride, a 2014 comedy based on a true story of allyship between lesbian and gay activists and labour unions.

Linsmore Tavern Open Jam

What: For all of you Jazz musicians and fans of top-level Jazz music, look no further than the Linsmore Tavern, for a brand new Jazz Jam. Come and enjoy an evening of incredible talent, hospitality, and atmosphere.

Open Roof Festival

What: Open Roof will offer filmgoers an eclectic mix of Hollywood and indie flicks paired with emerging musicians or bands in a variety of genres. Tonight’s feature film is Thoroughbreds with music from Moscow Apartment.

Time: Musical guests perform at 8 pm nightly while screenings commence around 9 pm.
