You have another reason to visit The Bentway this summer.

The Bentway and Build for Bokma have announced a new summer-long celebration of skateboard arts and culture called CITE.

The new installment will officially open to the public on June 30 and will stay open until August 12.

CITE is an art installation and skatepark that features Semblance, skateable sculptures conceived and constructed by Build for Bokma, which create a terrain for skateboarders to utilize in various ways.

On the opening weekend (June 30 to July 1), visitors can enjoy live DJ sets and music performances from Beat Sampras and Peanut Butter Wolf, a marketplace, film screenings, live graffiti, ping pong, and of course skate demos, trick showcases, open skates and meet and greets with skating pros.

On subsequent weekends during the summer, visitors can enjoy a variety of workshops including skateboard clinics, building skate sculptures, videography, screen printing, and designing skateboards, in addition to a speaker series.
