As Toronto collectively nurses its hangover this morning, it’s safe to say you didn’t need to be downtown last night to experience the energy of the Toronto Raptors historic win against the Golden State Warriors.

The downtown core came alive last night, with decked out fans spilling into the streets to celebrate the 118-109 home court win.

But the hometown pride extended well beyond Jurassic Park, with fans cheering on Kawhi Leonard and the boys at special viewing parties in Mississauga and Brampton.

According to Peel Regional Police, nearly 20,000 people attended a Raptors viewing party in Mississauga, while Brampton had an impressive turnout, too.

During the big game, fans located in Brampton and Mississauga were able to enjoy outdoor viewings in temporary venues that were called ‘Jurassic Park West’ and ‘Jurassic Square.’
