Toronto is home to some spectacular holiday markets this season.

Whether you want to sip mulled wine huddled around an outdoor firepit, shop Scandanavian Christmas decorations, or just devour every Christmas cookie in sight, here are all the holiday markets happening in Toronto in the lead up to Christmas.

The Toronto Christmas Market

The Toronto Christmas Market returns to the Distillery District from November 16 to December 23 and in addition to the twinkling lights and holiday cheer, look forward to plenty of seasonal sweets and European-inspired eats.

Now celebrating 30 years, this Markham market returns for three days featuring thousands of gift ideas from 130+ juried exhibitors plus all the Christmas food you can handle.

The Toronto Vegetarian Association Holiday Market

Swedish Christmas Fair

The Swedish Christmas Fair will transform Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre into an epic holiday extravaganza this November. Stocked with Swedish folk art, design, and traditional Christmas decorations, this holiday shopping destination also boasts a lakeside terrace and food market serving up Swedish coffee, saffron and cinnamon buns, gingerbread and more.

Fair in the Square

Milton Pop-Up Holiday Market

Milton’s pop-up Holiday Street Market, from the founder of Toronto’s Mac and Cheese Festival is putting on “Ontario’s largest authentic outdoor holiday market.” Expect an open concept street market complete with 242 artisan vendors selling all the holiday classics from gingerbread cookies to hot apple cider to one-of-a-kind gifts and crafts.

When: December 2, 9, and 16 from noon until 7 pm

Christkindl Market

Canada’s original Christkindl Market is back. The annual holiday celebration has been taking over Kitchener’s City Hall will feature plenty of Gluhwein, sweet and savoury food, 90 vendors, choirs, bands and dance groups.

When: December 7 to 10, 2017

Holiday Market at the Barns

This Holiday edition of Flea at the Barns is bringing together 60+ vendors featuring fashion, jewelry, home decor, beauty, craft and more! Meanwhile, The Stop kitchen will be serving Syrian comfort foods and gluten-free treats.
