What to eat in and around Seattle today: Morsel

Mar 25 2021, 7:29 pm

Morsel is one of Seattle’s best spots for biscuits and coffee.

The University District cafe is a perfect study spot or stop for a snack during a busy day.

When visiting, be sure to order first and grab a seat second. If you’d like a dozen or more biscuits, do place an order in advance.

Of course, at a place known for coffee and biscuits, we’re going to recommend coffee and biscuits.

Stay simple with buttermilk, cheddar chive, or the special biscuit of the day. You can even get your biscuit with gravy or have Beecher’s cheese added on top.

If you’d like a larger meal, opt for a breakfast sandwich on your choice of biscuit. We love The Spanish Fly with prosciutto, fried egg, manchego cheese, arugula, and a pepper aioli.

Finally, pick a coffee or beverage. The spot has all the classics such as americanos, macchiatos, cappuccinos, cold brew, latte, as well as chai lattes, hot chocolate, and additional flavorings made in-house.
