Montreal is getting funnier by the day as yet another comedianĀ is touching down in La Belle Province to dish out some laughs.
Except this time, it’s a true homecoming.
After an incredible year marked by a series of prestigious events, Sugar Sammy has announced that he’s bringing his razor-sharp wit back to Canada as part of his new “Canadian Tour.”

Sammy will be performing in 10 Canadian cities from September 6 to October 12, spanning from Nova Scotia all the way to BC.
His hometown shows in Montreal however, will be a tad more secretive because, Montreal.

Sammy’s bilingual performance, “You’re Gonna Rire” was presented in Montreal and across Quebec to a total of 421 sold-out shows and sold 372, 000 tickets making him the best-selling, one-man artist in the province.
In 2016, Sugar Sammy performed his hit show in front of a record-breaking crowd of over 115,000 people at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.
Following his local success, Sammy took his French show to France, Belgium, and Switzerland while hopping back to Canada this past winter to host the JFL Comedy Tour where he visited 12 cities.
This fall, the busy comedian will embark on his new Canadian tour, which starts on September 6 and 7 in Winnipeg. Tickets go on sale on Friday, May 3 and range from $39.99 to $59.99.
