Residents of BC are flocking to Alberta, and a discussion on Reddit has people sharing why they left areas across BC for Edmonton and what they consider is worth the move.

Posted to r/Edmonton on Reddit, the post asks if anyone regrets leaving BC, asking, “Anyone who moved from Vancouver, to Alberta feeling any remorse for their choices? I’m genuinely curious as someone who deciding between buying a home or staying close to my family.”

The post has garnered hundreds of responses, with many people sharing that they miss the spots they left in BC; however, Alberta has afforded them more than what they could have received there.
